I found this post via one of the other blogs I read regularly, Get Rich Slowly:
It was an interesting comparison between getting in physical shape and getting in financial shape. There were several good parallels, but the one that struck me the most was “slow and steady gets you there eventually.”
I went for several months without any exercise and eating whatever I wanted, and ended up at my highest adult weight ever. About a month ago I started recording all my caloric intake and getting semi-regular exercise. I got on the scales this morning, and the weight hasn’t budged. Ack.
My lesson for the day: Keep exercising, and try to do it more often. Keep recording the food and drink. Don’t give up.
