Inspiring gardens

When I was in Wales, one thing that struck me everywhere we went were the gardens.  Almost every home had a beautiful garden, and they looked effortless.  Vines seemed to grow randomly, and little flowering things would poke out of stone walls.  The entire country gets a lot of rain, and it never freezes (except at high altitudes), so everything is very green and lush all the time.  It was inspiring.  That’s the kind of garden I want to have.
